Brothers and Sisters,

At the beginning of the year, the Local 531 Renew group wanted to do something that would be beneficial for the community and also be good publicity for the Local.  They decided to adopt a section of highway on US-12 between State Road 49 and the East entrance of Arcelor Mittal.  This part of US-12 was selected due to the frequency of traffic and the fact our members use this stretch on a regular basis going to and from work.  Due to Covid-19, their first attempt to clean up had to be postponed.  This Saturday, August 8th at 10 AM we will be meeting at 1050 N Mineral Springs in Dune Acres and disperse from there.  This is a great way to give back to the community and to earn vouchers to help pay for books for the upcoming school year.  If interested please click here to sign up.
