As members of IBEW Local 531, we are very fortunate to have many great benefits. One of the most misunderstood benefits we have are our retirements. In an effort to better educate the membership, we will be hosting a Retirement information meeting, at the IBEW Local 531 Union Hall, where we will give highlights of all 4 of our retirements. That’s right, we have 4 retirements! We will go over the Local 531 Pension, Money Purchase Plan, NEBF and the International Pensions. I highly encourage anyone just starting out, close to retirement, or just want to better understand our retirements to attend this informational meeting. We will serve breakfast at 9 am with the presentation starting at 10 am. This will take about an hour and we will have some time for questions
