The intersection of Presidential Powers and Your IBEW

    Brothers and Sisters,

As the election is only a short time away, I wanted to share with you some information and a short, non-partisan video on exactly how Your IBEW is, and can be, affected by the President of the United States.  However you choose to vote this November 3rd, please understand what the Powers of the President means in regards to apprenticeships, collective bargaining, prevailing wage, OSHA, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor, and many other agencies that can either strengthen the IBEW or cripple it.  The video can be viewed by clicking on the video below. This video is only 3:45 long.  There is also a supporting document that will go into more detail on each of these subjects that can be found by clicking here.  A downloadable version is also available below.

Please also make sure you are registered to vote.  The deadline to register is October 5th.  To check if you are registered, click on the Indiana Workers Vote logo on the home page, or

    In Solidarity,

    Jim Clarida

    Business Manager/Financial Secretary
