Welcome Brothers and Sisters,
Union members worked together across the labor movement to win many important victories for working people last year. Across the movement, working people secured historic funding and investment in our nation’s infrastructure, protected thousands of jobs, helped striking workers secure better contracts and unleashed a wave of union organizing. We kept our country moving forward through a global pandemic.
Union members need to be talking to each other about the issues so we can work together to advance our shared agenda. That’s why the AFL-CIO is surveying union members nationwide, asking: “What do you care about?”
Click the survey link below, and together we can improve the lives of working people across the country!
Brothers and Sisters,
In an effort to help the membership navigate our Healthcare, we will be hosting a workshop on April 30th. This will be at the JATC in Michigan City located at 301 E. 8th Street at 10 am in the gymnasium. This will last approximately 2 hours and we will have lunch provided afterwards. We encourage you to bring your spouse. Topics will include Retiree Healthcare, HRA and open discussion. In order to get a headcount for seating and lunch, please respond if you will be attending by clicking the link.
UPDATE: The H&W Trustees at the most recent meeting voted to adopt a Medicare Advantage plan for our post 65 retirees. There will be discussion and more information regarding this change at the workshop.
